I need help finding a reception venue!

I live in Lancaster. I  was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice wedding reception venue with reasonable pricing that allows alcohol. We are willing to travel a bit!

Check out the Country Barn in Lancaster, PA. Their website is www.countrybarnmarket.com. Tell them that Mike sent you.

Stone Mill Inn and Lauxmont are gorgeous, but it depends on what you're looking for and how much your budget it.  Stone Mill is beautiful, Lauxmont has tremendous views.  I've heard not very good things about Lauxmont, but everywhere has stories.  Here's their websites:

    Stone Mill Inn- http://www.stonemillinn.com/
    Lauxmont Farms- http://www.weddings.lauxmontfarms.com/home/index.htm

I've contacted Country Barn, but they are not very good about getting back to you.  I'm finding it hard to communicate with them.

    Good luck!

We're getting married at The Lancaster Marriott, of course you can't bring in alcohol...but it's an awesome all inclusive!  Another place that lets you bring in alcohol is Willow Valley.  They also have a chapel on the premise!

We got married at Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, and highly recommend!  You can't provide your own alcohol, but they have reasonable prices.

I'm getting married at Stokesay Castle in Reading, PA. You can do ceremony and reception onsite.  Their wedding coordinator Laura is awesome and extremely helpful.  You cannot bring in your own alcohol, but their prices are fair and there is NO site rental fee.

Landis Valley Museum allows you to get your own alchohol and caterer.  They also do discounts for sunday and fridays.  I'm getting married there in May and like it so far.

I'm getting married at the Eden Resort. It's gorgeous there and their prices are very affordable!
