Rehersal invitation wording

How are you girls wording the invitations for the rehersal?  I'm just looking for a couple different options - do I put the church information first and annouce dinner after? Or do I include the dinner information at the beginning and the church information at the bottom?

I think I just casually let people know by email... (even though it was quite a nice affair.)

I don't think that you "formally invite" people to the church-- the people who  NEED to be there (wedding party, people walking up the aisle, and readers,) should just be told to be at the church and when. Every Rehearsal Dinner invitation I've ever seen is just that. An invitation to the DINNER.

Im not inviting anyone extra to the rehearsal. Only people who are serving

My invitation is just for the dinner.  Where the time goes, it says immediately following rehersal at Holy Family Church.  The rehersal information for the Church will be spread bt word of mouth.

In that case, ours basically said:

Mr. and Mrs. Professor Science's In-Laws invite you to a dinner honoring
Professor Science and Mr. Science
Friday, November 4 at Times Ten Cellar
7:30 pm.

We had to put a time because MIL invited all our family members, even those who were not involved in the wedding.  If you are only inviting people who are going to be at the actual rehearsal, I would just put "Immediately following the rehearsal at _______ Parish."
