Any reviews on Liberty Forge?

My fiance and I are looking to get married in late summer 2013. We want to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception; preferably all at one site. We plan to have apprx 100 guests.  Has anyone used Liberty Forge as their site? If so how was the service, pricing, etc.?

    I looked there and it was my first choice until I saw Cameron Estate Inn in Mt. Joy.  The turn off for Liberty Forge was the VERY expensive ceremony fee (just for the ceremony) of $1,500 to use their permanent tent or $3,000 to use the gazebo.  Other than that, the place was great and the girl I spoke to seemed to be accomodating.  Good luck!

    Just came back from a tasting for my wedding in April.  Food is amazing.  We are doing our ceremony elsewhere, so we don't have the ceremony cost issues that susiebecky speaks of.  Christie is the coordinator there and she is very responsive.  The last Altland House Catering wedding I went to was 10 years ago but the food is still fantastic.  The venue is a bit rustic (exposed beams, amber lights, tiffany lamps), but nothing that you can't work with if rustic isn't your thing.  Lots of light from large windows.  Christie will help you customize a package (I have yet to do that), so cost varies by what you want.  Check them out on the Altland House website.  www.altlandhouse.com

    I'm having my wedding and reception there this July. I LOVE the place and Christie is great to work with and good a negotiating prices and things like that. I email her back and forth alot and she is always willing to help with what I need and answer my questions. The venue is gorgeous both inside and out. The food is exceptional. I went to a tasting as well and the food is incredible. I'd definitely recommend it
