How have your aunt and your fi's grandmother been doing?  I'm sure it's a really difficult time for you both right now... we've been praying for you!

Aw thanks for thinking of me.

Aunt - she is doing chemo now and in her home hospital. I haven't had an update since them. She's in awesome spirits.

FI's Grandma - she has been sleeping since Friday. Everyone is just waiting now. they have taken her off all her medication now.

I've been praying that she passes soon so there is no more pain for her

So, Grandmere woke up! She's still refusing to eat and won't talk, but she's awake.
FI is more sad about this than when she was asleep because now she's probably in a lot of pain.

Mcdol, I'm saying an extra prayer for your family right now.  

It's fine that they're taking your FI's grandmother off her medications, but I really hope that they're leaving the pain meds on.  Pain control is the most important thing at this stage, let her be in peace.

Mica - we're not getting all the information since we live 3 hours away. I'm getting everything secondhand through blackberry messenger. Info goes from FI's father, to youngest son to youngest son's girlfriend - to me.
I hope they still have her on pain meds too.

It's so tough when they're in hospice... my fi's grandpa died a few years ago and wasn't very lucid with all the pain meds... but at least he was at peace!
