My fiance has 4 half siblings; two on his fathers side and two on his mothers. His parents were divorced and his father died when he was younger. The two on his father's side are now 13 and 14 and the two on his mother's side are 3 and 6. We decided to make the older children ushers at our wedding. They are well behaved and wouldn't be a problem. We are also very much closer to these two because my FH was raised my his father's parents. We have had this planned for the last 6 months and our wedding is in 6 months. All parties knew the plan. Now my FMIL is insisting that her children are asking to be in our wedding. I really don't think they are asking but I'm not gunna say anything. The 3 year old is mischievious and won't behave at all and the 6 year old is very shy and hides her face around everyone even when she sees us. I don't think they would particiapte well in a wedding which is why we didn't include them in the first place. We are not having a mass bc the majority of my family are not Catholics. Is there anywhere I can "stick" them without having to put them up front and center? I've chosen a ringbearer and flower girl already! Two very well behaved children who I know will stick to the plan! What do I do? Please help!
