Groom

invite you to share in their joy

at their nuptial mass

Date

Time

Place, etc. 

I know that "request the honor of your presence" is to be used only if the wedding is an a house of worship, but does it have to be used if it is? I feel like that line suggests a level of formality that we're not really having at our wedding (it is more semi-formal). 

Also, how do I find the Catholic Weddings website?

I don't think you HAVE to use "request the honor of your presence".  What you suggested sounds fine.  And the best website is www.catholicweddinghelp.com.

if you want to avoid the traditional wording, try this:

Together with their families, 

Bride

&

Groom

invite you to witness their marriage in the sacrament of holy matrimony and share in the celebration of the nuptial mass

Date

Time

Place, etc. 

just stating nuptial mass (while obvious to us, as catholics) might not be clear to some non-catholics that you are actually getting married.
