So I don't know if I am behind on this or not, but I just learned that you can have
your marriage blessed by the pope. All you have to do is contact the Chancery
 Office of your local Archdiocese and they can get you the paper work needed.

I think the cost is about $40 (donation) and it takes 6-8 weeks to get.
