Fear about Pre-Wedding Priest Consultation

I am kind of worried. We just changed our date, and with it the priest and venue of our wedding. The old priest said we didn't need to do anything counseling-wise until Jan 2012 since our wedding was to be in August 2012. The new priest wants us to meet with him before he will "officially" sign us up for a date. I have the reception site and caterer already booked for the date because they were available for the date change, and I had already sent the deposit. What I am worried about is what will go into this consultation and if it is some sort of a test to see IF he will marry us or just a formality in the process of signing us up. I haven't been to mass in a month and a half or so, and I am paranoid he will think I am not a serious Catholic, although I did go to Catholic School for grade school and high school, get confirmed, etc. etc.. If anyone has been through the first meeting with a Catholic priest, please tell me anything that might help/prepare me. If you haven't and just want to encourage me somehow, that would be nice too :-). I just don't want to have to change the date again...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He likely wants to meet you and go through the general admin information (baptismal records, etc). Some priests may ask more detailed questions than others, but I don't think there is anythng to be worried about.

its pretty routine.  i wouldnt worry too much.  he most likely wants to ask his own questions and do due diligence since he is officiating your sacrament.  he wants to make sure everythign is all set, and he may have a differing process for pre-cana than did your other priest.
