Gift to Priest

I am wondering if we should give a monetary gift or a gift card or a bottle of wine, or something else. I am just not sure what we can do for this, but I know we want to give our priest something - he has been great!

You should give cash.  Everyone prefers cash.  A bottle of wine would be kind of weird.

I do not think a bottle of wine would be weird at all. All of those are nice ideas.

I'd base your gift on what you know your priest likes.  So if he's into food and wine, give him wine.  Or if you know where he shops, give him a gift card.  But when in doubt, cash works, although bear in mind, he might have to donate the cash back to the church.
