I posted last week that our priest thought we were having a ceremony and we had been planning on a mass. As many of you suggested, it was just a miscommunication and everything is resolved. Our priest was actually surprised and said that he very rarely marries a couple within a mass, which I found a little sad. I'm so glad we were able to figure it out now rather than being surprised at our wedding!
