Can a preist marry you outside of the church? We cant decide if want an outside Ceremony or in the church. I REALLY want my God-father (who is a preist, married my mom and dad and also married my aunt and uncle) to marry us.

    While priests CAN marry you outside of a church, it is rare that people are granted dispensations for an outdoor wedding by a Catholic priest.

    how awesome your godfather is a priest and can marry you!  you can always incorporate the outdoors in your photos, reception, etc.

    While it is possible, special permission has to be given, usually with some kind of special circumstances.  I agree with Calypso.. just incorporate the outdoors into decorations, photos, etc.
