Need help with tipping...???

So, the 2 general rules about tipping that I have heard are:

1. You don't tip business owners, but you do tip their employees (ie, the delivery guy for the flowers and the driver for the limo company would be tipped, but the DOC who is running her own business would not be tipped.)

2. You tip based on a job well done. If you feel that anyone, employee or owner, goes above and beyond, tip them!

So here is my question::
I am working with several small businesses for my wedding. The florist who will deliver my flowers is the owner. Same for the cake guy. My venue includes gratuity in our contract. My DJ owns his business. My photographer owns his business. I am not really having any other vendors.

Do I need to tip anyone from the people above? Do I need to tip the second shooter who is working for my photographer? If a delivery person comes with the owners for the cake or flowers, do I need to tip them? If so, how much?

I am paying an officiant to do my ceremony. He requires a donation to his church as well as his fee. Do I need to tip him?

I am trying to figure out our budget and how much cash I need...

Oh, and I am getting my hair and make-up done. I am paying her for my stuff, as well as to do the hair of my mom, MOH, and eldest daughter. How much should I tip her?

TIA!

    i would say based on what you layed out there... the only person you need to tip is the hair stylist. regardless of whether they own the business or not, i always tip hair stylists, nail techs, massuesses, etc.
