prayer of the faithful

I've never posted on this board before, but thought you ladies would be able to help me out.

This might be a silly question..

Is a non-Catholic allowed to read the Prayer of the Faithful petitions?  Or are only Catholics able to do this?

Thanks!

My non-Catholic cousins read the Prayers of the Faithful at my wedding. Check with your priest though; different priests have different preferences.

Our deacon read ours, but I'm pretty sure it's fine that a non-Catholic would read them.... but of course, check with your priest!

I believe so.  They're petitions, not Catholic prayers
