Date Set!

My fiance and I met with our priest on Saturday. Though we're still waiting for the decision from the second instance, he gave us some books to begin reading, said he would check with the diocese about the second marriage retreat, and let us set a date!

We were hoping for October 15, 2011, and that's the date we've set. Ron has already emailed his family, and mine have already said they're okay.

    Congrats!! That is so exciting!
    I really wanted an October wedding, but then I got engaged in September and didn't want to wait a whole 13 months :P

    LOL, I know what you mean...we originally set August, but then when that didn't look like it was going to work due to the annulment and the weather (August is super hot in Missouri), we decided on October...because we did NOT want to wait any longer than that.

    Can't believe it now...it's actually feeling pretty close!

    I'm so happy to hear it. This must be such a great feeling...now waiting for that approval and the second instance and the celebration can really begin!
