Organizer Binder?

Anyone use a binder to help them organize details, for when you don't have your computer around? I bought one at a local florist's shop, from Mud Pie, called "To do's before the I do's," but I can't find filler pages for it. Any ideas? So far it's been very helpful - it has sections and a zipper pocket for business cards, etc.

i just tracked everything on excel, and always printed my spreadsheet out when i made changes - just in case of crashes!  i then just had a manila folder in our filing cabinet that held receipts, etc.

I had a binder, but I only used it to hold contracts that I actually bothered to print (most were saved in PDF form on my computer) and to track gifts.  Otherwise, I found that doing everything on the computer was much more convenient.  I would email files to myself so that I could access them from work or from H's home.

I also used a 3 ring binder with tabs for the different vendors and pics of ideas/inspiration I had collected. I also had things on my computer when we were looking at venues, like if they had a pdf packet that I needed to look through and compare to other places we were considering.

My MIL bought me a wedding planning binder that I don't use that often because it's rather bulky and had folders for each section that didn't fit 8.5x11 pages.  It's the Amy Neben's "Bride's Essential Wedding Planner Deluxe"... but if you need page inserts, you could buy this one and pick through it for helpful ones.  When interviewing vendors, it provided good tables to use that allowed you to ask them all consistent questions for easy comparison.  I only used that in the first few months of my planning and now I just try to keep everything more compact and streamlined.

For digital planning:  The google docs Style-Me-Pretty "all-in-one wedding spreadsheet" is pretty handy!  I also keep track of a lot of electronic documents in google docs on our wedding g-mail account that both my fiance and I use... it's good for quotes that vendors mail you and something you can access anywhere with an internet connection.  I also keep track of our guest list on the knot.  I just plan on deleting that account when I'm done with the wedding since it gets spammed by all the wedding vendors daily.

That said... I also do like having a physical copy of things, so I bought one of those cheap accordion file things from Target with separate tabs to keep paper copies of quotes, inspiration images, timelines, floor plans, vendor contacts, etc. for reference which is coming in quite handy as I near the date!
