I just wanted to post information about a pre-cana class that my priest approved for us to take as an alternative to your typical weekend class and meeting with priest.

We used it because I am in NH, FI is in NC, and we are getting married in Florida.  Lots of Army couples use this website, its based in Colorado but is approved in lots of dioceses.  The work is a lot , but it was very convient for us.  They allow you 3 months to complete the course, and you are assigned a sponsor couple.  I would highly recommend it!

Thank you so much for this link!! FI & I are long distance (Air Force) and our deacon wanted us to try to find something to do in person and we weren't having any luck. I'm going to see if he'll approve this.

I know this sounds fickle, but what does the certificate look like? who is the certificate from?

I don't know who their certificate is from, but we had to give our parish certificates from 3 different marriage prep components, but baptism certificates, etc.

Congrats on finishing! This puts you one step closer to marriage -- so exciting!!
