Processional music suggestions

I need some suggestions. I don't want to walk down the aisle to the traditional Bridal Chorus. I like Canon in D but it's also been done so much. I'm thinking of having everyone before me walk in to Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire. It's traditional but I really like it. Then I want something more dramatic for my entrance. I will most likely just have an organist and Cantor. TIA!

Have you talked with your organist about his/her thoughts?  We're doing Jesu as the Prelude, for the Processional, we're doing Charpentier's Te Deum.

Our bridal party processional was Trumpet Voluntary and my processional was Jesu.

I walked down the aisle to both Canon in D and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. My BM's walked down the aisle to: Rondeau by Mouret. The Mom's entered with Flower Duet from Lakme. I think any of those would be good for the processional. They all say bride to me.

most weddings I play now like to have the bridal party and the bride walk into "How Beauitufl" by twila paris. There is a key change at the end for the bride.

Its very good becasue its one song, there is no drop in momentum or chopiness in changing songs.

OhMiGosh! Thank you! I'm not the original asker, but I've never heard Prelude to Te Deum, and I LOVE IT! I've been looking for a song to walk in to, and that would be perfect!

The attendants are walking in to Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring.  I'm walking into Trumpet Voluntary.

We are using Rondeau by Mouret as the recessional, but it would also make a nice processional.
