NWR - would deeply appreciate prayers

Dear sisters in Christ,

If you would please offer a quick prayer for mercy and strength, it would mean a great deal to me.

How hard it is to try to imitate our Savior, and say, "Thy will be done, and not Mine own."  I am sad and ashamed to say that instead of thanking Him for this cross, I'm begging Him - imploring Him - to take it away. 

I know that I have so much to be grateful for.  Namely, my baby boy is safe and healthy, and so is my husband.  And yet I can't stop pleading with Him for mercy - for an ordeal to be over.

Angels and saints, holy men and women who kneel before the Throne of the One who reigns over all, please pray with us and for us.

You are so right - to say "Thy will and not mine" sometimes is one of the hardest things in the world.

I will pray for you...not that I wouldn't have anyway, but what you said to me after my son died has always stayed with me in a really unique way...so I feel indebted to you for that & just wanted you to know.
