    that's so wonderful that you're going to go in with an open mind! I'm sure that you will be amazed at how scientific and biological nfp actually is!

    I also hope that afterwards, you'll be able to ask yourself (and especially your medical FFIL!) why exactly it is that the mainstream medical community wants to keep women in the dark about this healthy alternative, preferring that we pump ourselves full of chemicals and hormones without even giving us the option...

    well honestly, you may have been surprised/unsure/hesitant about NFP and the required class, but you do NOT go about it by trashing something you know nothing about and making references to kool-aid, and making ignorant jokes.

    however the positive in all this is that at least you got it out here with us - strangers on an internet board.  becuase saying stuff like this at the actual class and going there with the attitude you had initially would not have helped your cause at all.

    i wish you luck and you may just be pleasantly surprised!
