My weekend was great!!  Friday my sister got fitted for her BM dress.  Saturday we enjoyed the weather grilled steaks and drank a pitcher of margaritas in our backyard.

Yesterday we had our tasting and it was so much fun!!

I had a pretty decent bday weekend!  I worked all weekend =(  but Saturday I went to see What to Expect When Expecting (pretty funny!  I'd own it   and Sunday, I just had a store meeting & then I went with a new friend to shop for her e-pics...FI's aunt & uncle came over with their little one's, our FG & her lil baby bet, she calls him (she's 2 & starting to use words and what not...I guess she said the B word the other day..pretty funny stuff!)...Then FI & I just relaxed!

This week...not much WR left to do until we start receiving RSVP cards so we can make the escort cards...work on music & get a hold of photographer.

My weekend was pretty good. FI's finals are in a month, so he is getting serious about studying which means I can get serious wedding planning stuff accomplished. I did all of our tables numbers and designed several signs we'll need for the guest book table, bar, whiskey bar, etc. Also, they just opened a new gelato place a 5 min walk from our apartment. It's soooo good! We discovered it Thurs and have already been 3 times. I just kind of wish we'd discovered it after the wedding, lol.

This week will be a pretty normal week. The start of the week will be quiet at work, but then we have a big meeting Thursday so that will keep me busy.

I'd just like to say that I've got today, tomorrow, and Wednesday at work, then I'm out for the summer!!!! Waaahooooo!!!

My weekend was pretty good! Some crazy things happened but FI and I went to look at some apts and houses for sale. We saw one really beautiful apt for sale but we want to see if we can find a house within our budget before deciding. WR....oh man. Lots to do. FI is finally on board with planning which makes things loads easier for me. I had to make a mock up of our reception decor on photoshop in order for him to really get it and make a decision haha because he decided he really wants a sapphire blue in our colors! Face palm! It's ok though, the scheme would end up being jewel tone which is nice and I really don't want to stress over the little things anymore. The photoshop mockup went really well though, he could visualize better what I've been talking about and now we're between 2 options! We need to finish invites and start delivering, I need to order some things online and decide somewhere I can get my alterations done. Our officant story is a disaster though. He bailed on us. Says all the other church leaders are leaving for the summer they're all american or canadian and he won't have enough time. Anyone else he knows will also be out of the country. I'm trying not to freak but it's really hard to find officiants here. They're almost all catholic, the christian ones are mostly VERY hardcore and NEITHER are searchable online. Ugh! There's one pastor FI knows of that he's going to contact today but who knows what will happen. I'm trying to remind myself it's not the end of the world and to breathe. Worst case scenario, we'll pay extra to have our civil ceremony on site at our venue instead of at city hall like usual. It would be strange doing this without a religious ceremony though, no one ever has a formal reception after ONLY a civil ceremony. But whatever, there's not much else we can do now! Oops, sorry for making that so long. I obvs have tons to do!

My weekend was great! Had my first fitting (I'll post pics once my mom sends them to me), took my BM to see the venue, and had my shower! It was fun but I'm so tired.

This week WR: Must finish adressing invites, like today, We were supossed to do them yesterday but we were so tired we went to bed at like 8:00. So they must be finished and mailed. Then this weekend we are going to see my Aunts and write the cerenony, which means I can work on programs. And since having my Aunts do this seems to illegal I need to figure out how to make it legal.

NWR: We have a super long weekend coming up since we didn't use snow days. I work three days this week and don't come back until Tuesday! Plus since its a pay week we get paid early too! And the trip to my Aunts will be a vacation since they have opened their pool.

mbody- I'm jealous!! I'll be done after next week Friday. 3 day week with students next week though and then work day on Friday without students.

My weekend was pretty good. Busy. The shower on Saturday went pretty well and I can't believe how many gifts I got. People are sooooo nice. Yesterday I went and watched some of my students gymnastics performance. It was fun.

I'll be checking our mail everyday now with excitement. We actually got 2 RSVPs back on Friday, I couldn't believe it. We sent out our invites on Tuesday!!

mbody I am soooo jealous of your summer off! FI is a teacher too and I'm really hoping I don't start to hate him for having summers off

My weekend was good and very busy! Had a fitting on Saturday, then went up to see my cousin get all dolled up for her senior prom. Yesterday I spent time at my mom's house.

WR this week: more of the same... dance lessons. I'm also hoping to hear back from my florist on my revised quote. I am seriously scared for that.

NWR: my cousin is graduating high school this Sunday so we're going to MSU for that. Hoping to relax and do nothing on my day off on Monday!

Ugh. Mondays suck! and it is raining here.

We really didn't do much just relax since this will probably be the last weekend to ourselves.

WR: We finalized our ceremony with the priest and the music director so I can start printing my programs which is cool.

NWR: This week is my work review ( I am a little nervous) hopefully I get a good raise. I have Zumba tonight, and I start Bootcamp on Wednesday. Then it is a long weekend this weekend. Love it. Hopefully it will be nice enough to get to the beach.

happy monday everyone!! hope you guys had great weekends!!

I spent most of the weekend working on invites. We are making good progress. The only setback is, we still only have half of our belly bands and I am waiting on dumb invite lady to get back to me on when our "rush order" for those will come. We are planning to give them to my parents on Thursday night when they drive us to the airport so that they can mail them on Friday.  Fingers crossed everything works out!!!

My boudoir shoot went soooo well. I was nervous for nothing. 

This will be a busy week!!

WR: Finish invites and mail them, order brunch invitations, book limousine

NWR: LOTS of work this week, and leaving for Orlando on Thursday to go to fiance's cousin/my Junior BM's high school graduation! so excited!! I love her family and can't wait to spend time with them. And she is taking us to Harry Potter world on Saturday!!

Meki- My mom said we already have about 5 RSVPs as of last Friday- our invites were sent out on Tuesday too. So quick!!! (and so exciting!) And, Yay to having summers off. You're with HS kids right? or is it Eled?

ceglare- What does your FI teach? My FI is also a teacher, and so are most of my friends, so I'd probably go crazy working in the summer when all my best peeps have off.

Hey gals! Weekend went well, had dinner with a friend Friday. Saturday had hair trial and first dress fitting and found some shoes for my MOH. Yesterday we went to a wedding and it was a blast! Great weekend overall.

WR this week: On a mission for suit for the RB, carafes for the sharing the wine ceremony, easels for the welcome sign and photobooth sign.

NWR (well, kinda): Work, gym and tan

Happy Monday!! My weekend was good and flew by! I drove to Virginia on Friday to see my brother graduate from college The weather was perfect and the graduation was very nice. Then I drove to the Jersey Shore for one of my BM's bachelorette party! Her cousin brought in a stripper... omg.  I have never been around one before and it was hysterical.  I've never laughed so much in my life, but it was so embarrassing for my friend. 

WR: Mailbox stalking, returning 2 duplicate gifts we just received on Saturday (odd b/c these items have been off the registry for a month!), setting up our tasting meeting for next month and hopefully booking transportation!

NWR: Working and working out, organizing the house since FI will be gone for the weekend.  I'm going to start putting all of our shower gifts away b/c they are all over the living room lol.

Hi ladies! I already AWed on another thread about my weekend, but I forgot to mention we had our floral mockup meeting and it went SO well. I'm in love with our centerpieces! I'll upload the pics later and then PIP. We have half tall and half short centerpieces in brass/gold candelabra things with a huge thing of babies breath, green hanging amaranthis, candles, some crystals, some extra greenery, etc. It looks so amazing! She totally understood my "vision" (I can't believe I said that).

This week, hoping to hit the gym hard. I've been slacking. My dress fits fine, and still needs to be taken in more, but I want to tone. I also want to try out some of the place settings because after all of the DIY debacles, I want to start these early in case I need to come up with a Plan B.

And yeah, k8888 - the weather is DISGUSTING today! The whole week is supposed to rain

My FI is also a teacher.  However he works a summer camp through august so he gets a week off in june in between jobs and then 1-2 weeks at the end of august before school starts up again.  I get so jealous when he is off.

Happy Monday!

My weekend was absolutely amazing! I had so much fun, but I am so exhausted right now at work. My bachelorette party was Friday night and my girls are just the absolutely best. I couldn't have asked for more. My shower was yesterday and that exceeded my expectations as well. I was extremely nervous going into it because I had to make a speech, but everything went well. My mother and my sister are amazing (: My shower was held at an Italian wedding venue and we had about 50 people there. My mom put the whole thing together and she really did an amazing job. I got almost everything from my registry so FI and I are all set to move into our new house in June!

This week NWR: My summer grad school class starts so I'm going to be pretty busy with that..

WR: I'm just going to try and write all of my thank you notes from my shower yesterday. I'm hoping to have them all finished and mailed by Wednesday.

My weekend was perfect! Saturday we went to Sea World to celebrate future step daughter's 3rd bday. She had a blast. Sunday was my first shower thrown by my FSIL and FMIL. I had so much fun and it making the wedding seem so close now that the pre-wedding festivities have officially started! I'll post a AW post with pics and details :-)

This week nothing too much gonig on wedding related. I'm really looking forward to Memorial day weekend and have 3 days off! Fi and I are going to the Colorado River. It's where we met and supposed to be like 110 degrees this weekend there, so hoping to get some good color and have fun on the boat.

This weekend was awesome!!  As you saw I already posted an AW about my Shower which was amazing.  I also sent out our invitations!!!

This week I wont be getting anything WR finished since I am in Germany all week for work.. Awful flight last night it sucked I didnt sleep at all which is the worst!

My weekend was pretty good, went by too fast as usual!  Saturday I had my makeup/hair trial, I will pip tonight when I get home and then Sunday we got a tv and went to a friend's graduation party.

This week I have a ton on my plate:
WR - Need to write and mail out my shower TY cards.  I need to get in touch with my vendors and the church for last minute meetings.  I need to do some DIY stuff, hopefully my favor boxes and such will get here before the weekend.

NWR - Working all week (trying to get Friday off), school work, unpacking, and continuing education stuff for my RE license.  Also we might be having a cookout/pool party this weekend, depends on FI's family's plans and my friends' plans.

I had a busy weekend- I went back to MSU (ceglare!) and said goodbye to one of my BMs and her hubby who are moving to kansas city later this week. The next time i see her will be my bachelorette party!! We were able to see a few other friends too; which was great!!

Sunday we did laundry at FILs house, so we dont have to pay at the apartment, and took a nice long nap before premarital counseling.

This week; I need to work on getting a job. Then I have a guestbook to finish, and a mailbox/cardholder to paint. Im trying to get a lot of wedding projects done now while i have a lot of free time, and before we start having house projects instead. 

My sisters birthday is friday, and Fi's is monday, so i need to get some presents yet too.

mbody and mekiakoo- I'm jealous of both of you- we're not done till the 21st!

I had a busy weekend, but the amazing weather put me in such a good mood. 

On Friday night I had my science club till 8. When I got home I was ready to relax with FI, when he gets a call from his bro/BM who said that he needs to take off the 22nd from work for the bachelor party. I was upset because I wanted to try to have my bachelorette the same weekend as the bachelor party and my MOH is not available that weekend. And like I said above, my last day of work is the 21st, so to have FI leave on the 22nd is lame. Really I'm just not so thrilled about the bachelor party in general and now I'm thinking about it more because the date has been set. FI's brother is kindof a punk and will pressure him to drink too much and then be mean if/when FI says no.

Saturday: gym, tanning for the second time, haircut, book sale at my church where I spent $10 and got 20 new books  ( :  working on invitations 3-11 boo

Sunday: FI and I went on a 20 mile bike-ride to this cute place for lunch. It was so nice to spend time with him not getting angry at a printer and he totally reassured me about the bachelor party and how it'll all be fine. Then we at dinner at his parents and worked on the invitations some more
