Wedding dress issues...

I bought a size 8 Oleg Cassini dress and when I bought it... it was a little snug at the bust... Now I gained about 5 lbs... in my chest.

The dress still zips up but is too tight. I was thinking about having the zipper taken out and adding a corset back to it since the top is made like a corset anyways. Do you think it will still look nice? Here is the link to the dress pictures.

I think it will look okay, but I'm still worried. Any suggestions?

I definitely think it would look good!  I also wonder if they can just let it out in the bust a bit more?  You know?  The back looks pretty as is...but a corset with definitely give you peace of mind!  :)  How close are you to your wedding day?

I'm only four months away. I was thinking about it just being let out in the bust, but the seamstress said that it gets costly especially because of how much 'beading' there is. She also said because the top is corset like anyways, with the boning and such that it wouldn't look bad and I wouldn't have to worry about dieting too much. But I'm going tomorrow to have it looked at.

Besides... I do have a thing for corsets anyways. :P

Your FI will LOVE the corset back!  I thought of doing that with my dress too...but the detail near the zipper looks good as is.  I would totally go for the corset.  It's definitely a princess dress!!  Good luck!  Let us all know.  Post pics!

I would add the corset back to the dress, but just be aware that it's like $120 and yo ushould get it done asap because it takes a while. They won't be able to take the dress out at all, sorry! But, I think it will look lovely with the corset back if you have the extra cash!

Did you get it at the H-burg store? Just wondering. You look super familiar!
