RAVE for Family Foundations magazine (marriage/NFP related!)

Good morning!  :-)

I've just gotten around to reading the newest issue of Family Foundations, which DH and I receive because we have a membership with The Couple To Couple League (which, among other things, offers NFP classes, and NFP guidance and assistance by phone - an awesome resource long after the wedding day, trust me!)

We always find the magazine to be interesting, inspiring and helpful.  There are articles about NFP, Catholicism and Church teachings, current challenges facing Christians, etc.  The new issue is centered on the first year of marriage and approaching NFP as newlyweds.  It's a really great read, and would be beneficial to all of the engaged ladies here (as well as those of us who are already married, of course.)

CCLI's website is http://www.ccli.org/ and the number is (800) 745-8252.  I'm not sure if you could purchase a single issue, but it's worth a shot - although I highly recommend subscribing for the long run.

I got a 1 yr membership when I signed up to take the NFP class as part of my marriage prep.

I was supposed to get a magazine every other month, but for some reason I only ever received one issue.   It was at least a really good issue, though.

Calypso, the course, with the 1 year membership included, was $135.00.  According to their website, just a membership is only $35.00 a year.

I absolutely love Family Foundations magazine and read it cover to cover.  The articles are written in a very real way.  They're informative even after I took the NFP classes, they make me laugh, cry, and they inspire me.  It's my favorite Catholic magazine of all time.

catarntina, you should definitely call and let them know that you didn't receive your magazines!  You paid for them, after all!  :-D

$35 a year isnt bad at all.   i may sign up.  i'm always looking for good reading material.
