Nine weeks! Tried on dress again!

Wow! Nine weeks sounds sooo much closer than two months and a week.

I went to the bridal store and tried my dress on again with its slip and my shoes. I have been watching too much "Say Yes to the Dress" and was second-guessing my decision, but when I saw it and put it on...I started crying again, and I knew I had chosen the right one! And the bridal consultant said she could tell I had lost weight, and when she pulled the dress tight (and up, since I have no breasts to speak of so the dress keeps sliding up), it looked AMAZING. I didn't want to take it off, except the heat index here is about 105 and it was hot and heavy. Just so excited!

Brought my veil and headpiece home for my hair and makeup rehearsal in September (I know it's way early, but I like having it here)...and my shoes so I can start walking around in them.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

I know the feeling of second-guessing the dress. I hate the me-in-the-dress-shop picture of my dress, but remembered feeling amzing in it, so trusted that. When I went in to try it on, it felt soooooooooo much better.

I ended up getting tons of compliments on the dress, and I know you will, too. Happiness is the best accessory.

Bibli, that's exactly it! Every picture from the dress shop just didn't look right, but this time we pulled it tight tight tight and that helped a lot - it hasn't even been fitted or taken in yet, so I know it will look even better after that gets done. Glad I wasn't the only one who had doubts...<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

Here in my part of Missouri we have been in an excessive heat warning going on three weeks now, I think...it's been so long, I can't even remember. Just when we think it's going to end, they extend it. It's quite depressing. The temperature itself isn't that bad...today it's only supposed to be 90, but the heat index is supposed to be 106. It's awful.

I just don't know how you ladies in humid climates do it. I mean, 'round here 106 is a coolish day for July (it's our forecast for today), but 20% humidity leaves us squealing. 90 heat index 106....ugg!! I'm praying for relief for you all.
