I know this isn't necessarily Catholic related, but you ladies have been very supportive in other issues I've had, and frankly it really, really sucked to get the call from my parents that our family dog passed away this morning. She had cancer for over a year, and I spent every Monday for six months taking her to chemotherapy which kept her healthy from June of last year until Christmas. Luckily I had two days off this week, and spent Thursday and Friday at home with her and my family so that I still got to spend time with her near the end.
I don't care what religion says, I'm going to pretend there is a doggy heaven because it makes me feel a lot better to think she's happy somewhere chasing cats and birds and getting as much people food as her little heart desires.
