Confused about ceremony music

I'm working on finalizing my music choices for our ceremony, particularly the beginning. I'm confused about whether or not there should be one song for the seating of the parents/grandparents and another song for when the bridesmaids walk in. Plus another Prelude song and then another one for when my father and I walk in. Seems like a lot and I can't remember how other ceremonies I've been to do it. TIA!

Its really up to you and the music director.  It is actually a liturgical procession that should be one song....when stopping and starting new music it gets choppy and loses momentum. But most churches allow different options for this.

I would talk to your music director. We had a song for the Mothers and Grandmother's and the bridesmaids. And then there was the song for me to walk down the aisle to. Our music director/organist sort of blended them together, so they flowed really nicely. The music never stopped, it just transitioned into the next song.

you can really do whatever you want... but keep in mind, notice how you can't remember this about other people's weddings, so don't stress at all about it, cuz chances are no one else will remember if about your wedding! (I play the organ for lots of weddings, and I can attest to the fact that the less there is to "coordinate" and make sure the timing is going perfectly, the better for everyone! As long as you have a good musician who isn't going to let anyone walk down the aisle with *no* music, it will be lovely!)
