String Quartet Sheet Music

Hello!  I've been scouring the internet for some string quartet sheet music for two songs that will be part of the ceremony.

Celtic Alleluia
Psalm 33: 12 and 18, 20-21, 22 (Generally just the same tune throughout)

I can't find them, and I know they're out there!  I've visited several sites without luck.  Please help and I'll find a way to pay ya back!  Thanks!

Best,
Jen

Have you tried looking at OCP.org?  They hold the rights to quite a lot of service music and hymns, and I think Celtic Alleluia is one of them.

I am not aware that there is a version specifically written for a string quartet.  However, I have found that most string musicians will adapt from the octavo version.

There are many settings of Psalm 33... you might want to give a composer if you have a specific setting in mind.

You might want to consult your string quartet before ordering too much music.  String players often have quite a collection of music from other weddings.  They may already have what you're looking for.

If you find a choral version of either piece with four parts, the string players might be able to read it on their own instrument if they are capable enough.

i would also try sibeliusmusic.com. you can find a lot of arrangements of just about anything on there. i haven't searched for the Celtic Alleluia but it's worth a try. and the music is usually $1 per part (so $4 for the entire quartet). GL!
