I forgot what we decided our threads would be, but I think Monday was for prayers (Caiti, if you see this, could you remind me what your idea was for the "official" name?).  If you have a special request, or just something you're praying for this week.

I'll start:
I'm praying that some of the blessings that have come upon my husband and I will move over to my parents.  They've been living separately for almost 4 years while my dad works in one state and my mom attempts to sell their house in another (btw if you know someone who needs horse property near Jackson, MS, have I got a house for you!)

And that all my fellow teachers and our students will have the patience, strength, and wisdom do get through these next 9 days of school.

I am praying that FI will find a good, fulfilling (and well-paid!) job in the next few weeks.  I don't want him to get stressed or discouraged!  He just graduated yesterday, so it's totally reasonable that he doesn't have a job.  I just know he'll feel SO much better if he has something lined up sooner rather than later!

I am also praying for my pregnant sister, that everything will go well with the pregnancy and that she will deliver a healthy baby.

I'm praying for safe travels for lots of people I know who are currently on the road, that they might be safe and return joyful.

For our nephew who is graduating from high school as I type this that his future be bright and guided by God's will.

For a restful and productive few days off.

For continued health and safety during the last weeks of my pregnancy.

I am praying for strength and patience for my sister.  Our mom has metastacized breast cancer to the bones and a lot of the caregiving has fallen on my sister's shoulders since she lives nearby.  Mom is very demanding and inconsiderate of my sister's time and work schedule.  She is very stressed this morning.

I believe my suggestion was Monday "Prayer time". Just something simple

I feel like I'm stealing Resa's prayers, but here are mine:

Praying for FI, as he lost his full time recently and has been doing PRN work. Not knowing when he'll be working has been stressing him out and making him feel useless. 

Praying for my pregnant sister as well! She'd had thyroid cancer and some pretty serious recovery, but got pregnant pretty much as soon as the doctor said it was okay. Praying for a healthy momma and baby!

I'm praying for FI, hoping that his job can go back to full-time soon.  Hours and pay were cut 20%, almost two years ago, and that's been really hard.  He loves his job and the firm he's with so looking for a new job would be an aboslute last resort, but I know financial concerns weigh heavily on him.

Also praying for my dog, we should be getting the results from his allergy testing soon.  He's been pretty miserable and we hope we can figure out what his allergies are so we can clear up everything.

Praying for you all!

I'm praying that I would find a good job, and while I don't *need* one, unlike so many people, unfortunately, I do want to be doing more with my time whether by serving God and others, or working and being productive.

I am praying that my Future Father-in-law recovers from his surgery soon.

He had a tumor removed from his liver a few weeks ago, and now has a bag draining the infection...Some of it leaked, he got an infection/fever, and went back to the hospital. While there, they found a blood clot in his leg. The poor man has been suffering quite a bit. I know he's worried and feels a lot better in the hospital, so he probably wont leave again until he feels a big improvement.

I also pray for my Fiance and I. That we will have a happy, holy, faithful marriage.

I love the idea of prayer Monday!

I am 'borrowing' from the PP: For my fiance and I, that we would have a happy, holy, and faithful marriage rooted in our faith.

For my fiance, who is searching and in great need of a job.  For his peace and ability to let our Lord lead him where he needs to go.

For my health this week, as I struggle with persistant ailments, that I would offer these up for the good of my marriage and for all who suffer.

I'm praying that my FI is able to find a new job soon.  His current job situation is pretty bad, and he's been looking for a new job for a while.  

Also praying that the last 10 days of wedding planning go smoothly and that I remain focused on what is really important-the sacrament of marriage.
