I know I haven't posted here in AGES, but I needed to share with folks who would understand... So, hi Ladies!
My dad, who is 52 years old, is starting RCIA classes today. He is going to be baptized and confirmed on Easter! He and my mom have been married for 32 years, so their marriage will be convalidated as well. He'll be getting baptized, eucharist, reconciliation, confirmation and marriage pretty much all at the same time. This is just crazy!
I'm thrilled for him. And I'm glad that he came to it on his own terms.
They also asked me if I could be his Godmother. Isn't that ironic?
