Fi and I having difficulties selecting our Gospel reading. What's everyone else doing?

We chose "You Are the Light of the World" (Mathew 5:13-16).

We did John 17:20-26.  We thought it spoke a lot to our calling as a married couple -- to love each other, but to also love all, and to let the love of Christ be evident in our marriage.

Us too. We picked this because we had the first creation story (Genesis 1:26-28, 31) as our first reading and in this Gospel reading Jesus reemphasizes both creation stories and that it was good it the beginning and that God created us male and female. We had Revelation 19:1, 5-9 as our second reading. We picked all of our readings to go together after reading theology of the body. These readings really spoke to us about what marriage is all about. That it was created by God in the beginning and we are to be an image of Chirst's love for the church. <p class="MsoNormal"><span> </span></p>
