Memorial Poem?

Hey girls,

I'm working on program wording for the wedding, and FI and I would like to honor his parents who passed away. We're thinking something on the back cover. Anyone know of a nice prayer, poem , or quote that would be appropriate for this?

TIA

I am putting this verbiage on my program

In this time of great joy we pause to remember
those who are no longer with us physically, but whose memories and love will forever surround us.  Jane Doe – Bride’s GrandmotherJohn Smith – Grooms Grandfather

    This is what we wrote:

    In Loving Memory:

On this very special day, we wish to remember our loved ones who have gone before us. We know they are here with us in spirit. The special ways in which they touched our lives will remain in our hearts forever.

Sorry about the formatting, I C&P'ed directly from our programs.

In addition to mentioning your FI's parents in the program, you could also mention them and all souls who have gone before us during the Prayer of the Faithful.

on the back of our programs we are putting and irish poem (especially since FI is irish so he likes it)

    Gone but not forgotten
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields
    and until we meet again,
May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.

underneath saying "In memory of so-and-so", as well as putting their names in the prayers of the faithful.
