Confession?

Whens the best time to do confession? I wanted to do it the night of our rehersal but theres actually gonna be 2 rehersals goin on. One is an hr and a half before ours. I guess the priest isn't going to be able to take confessions that night like we had originally wanted. I work and go to school so is it ok to do it a wk ahead? Our parish has confessions on Saturday mornings.

    I think anytime within a week or so of the wedding is fine. That is what our priest told us. We did ours the Thursday before our Saturday wedding.

    It doesn't matter so much how long before the wedding, the important thing is that you are in the state of grace when receiving the sacrament. A week should be fine as long as you take care not to fall into mortal sin (a good general practice for life anyway, haha)
