1st meeting with our priest

We have our first meeting with the priest tonight. We have already gone through an engaged couples retreat. I am just wondering what kind of questions we should expect to be asked, and how many meeting is normal to have before the wedding. Our wedding is four and a half months away. Thanks for all your help and answers.

they will probably just go over ceremony logistics, and any other lessons they want you to learn (NFP, etc.) before the big day.  you may or may not have a FOCCUS test.

we had 3 meetings in total with the priest, after the initial meeting.  we didnt do FOCCUS or an engaged weekend or any thing like that.  but we are regular church goers, and were older,  so that may have had somethign to do with it.

Don't worry about it, just be honest. They have heard it all before. Yes, you may have to take the FOCCUS test and he may ask you questions regarding it if he scores it right then and there. He may also ask you if you have any questions or concerns about not only the ceremony, but other things. Remember, most priests have a background in psychology/theology/counseling, so if there are any issues or concerns you have, it is a good time to bring those up. I was worried at first, too, but everything went just fine and it was so easy. Good luck!
