I guess I'll start the chit chat board for the day.  

Don't have too much going on in my world here, just preparing at work for Christmas (yes, already - I've been staring at ornaments and other various Christmas kitch all week).  Planning on going to the movies with FI tonight.  The rest of the weekend will be pretty busy, so I probably won't be on TK much after today until next week.

What about everyone else?

Sooo glad it's Friday! Have been dealing with personnel issues the last couple of days...dang it, why can't people just do their jobs and take responsibility for their own drama??

Going favor shopping with my FSIL this weekend and spending time with FI and my future stepson, who played in his first football jamboree today...well, he's junior varsity, so he might not get to play.

I also started physical therapy yesterday...I was in a car accident several years ago, and though I just had some soft tissue damage in my back, I have this kind of "lump" on the back of my left hip, which I thought was a love handle but turns out to maybe be some calcification of the muscle from my accident. So I've been doing some at-home exercises...right now they're making the problem worse, LOL! But it'll be worth it.

57 days, girls! I'm so excited!!!

Oh, and my maid of honor gave me my shower invitation today!! It's September 14th...

Linda--that is exciting! Do you know yet what you're getting for favors?

Today's been rough... Lots of ups and downs (ok... "middles"s and downs?) DH had to work all day (11am-9pm) and so its been really lonely and I haven't really done anything... trying to decide what to do about tomorrow--we have a party scheduled and about 14 people coming over, not sure if we should reschedule or just go through with it to keep my mind off of other things... and I need to decide soon so two of our friends can decide whether to come in from out of town (they know whats going on and won't mind changing their plans). Ugh. I hope DH gets off work early... (not likely)

@ Katie - you and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers.  I think it could be helpful (if you're able/ready) if you put the situation in His hands and try and enjoy the love and company of your friends for awhile this weekend.  It's in the difficult times that we can have some of our most precious moments with friends/family.

@ Linda - Good luck favor shopping.  Any ideas on what you'll be getting?  I hope your PT goes well, and I hope you have lots of fun at your bridal shower!
