Cinderella Shop

Has anyone ever gone there?  Do they have a large variety of dresses?  Are they nice and helpful?

Just trying to get a feel for the local bridal shops.  I'm not a fan of David's Bridal and would love to buy locally.

The one in Palmyra? I've never been there but I've heard really bad things! I purchased my gown at Cocoa Couture on 422 in Hershey and loved it! We are getting my BM dresses there also, as well as FI and GM are getting their suits there.

I've never been there, but one of my friends went there to look at dresses and said the lady was rude to her, and told her she could only look in a specific area because she couldn't afford dresses in another area.  I recently went to enchanted evening in lebanon and they were super nice.  I ended up purchasing my dress there, and i'm taking my maids there for dresses as well.

I've heard mixed reviews about Cinderella shop. My friend got her dress there and LOVED it. Almost everyone else I talked to said they were rude and would never go back.

I went there Labor day weekend after trying to call multiple times and getting no answer,  but a voicemail with their hours. When I showed up, they were closed (apparently the entire Labor day weekend), but didn't have anything mentioning that on their voicemail or website.

I ended up getting my dress already (for November 2012!) from the Bridal Emporium in E-town. The dress I loved turned out to be discontinued though the designer hadn't notified the retailers. So, they had one in the color and size I wanted left with the designer, so Mary Ann (shop owner) purchased it so I would have the option to buy it. Though she was not high pressure at all just didn't want me to lose the opportunity to get that dress. That in my opinion was amazing customer service!

I can't believe that place is still in business! (I am a recent MOB, by the way). I bought my wedding dress and BM dresses there 26 years ago and the experience was horrible.

I can't give any recommendations for bridal gowns (my daughter lives in Miami) but I bought my MOB dress from Taylored for You in Mechanicsburg. Taylor was awesome. She has gotten great reviews from brides. Lovely shop and very personalized service.

I agree with Taylored for You. I drive by it all the time and honestly never thought much of it. I recently got my wedding dress there and it was my favorite of the stores I went to (JB, Cocoa, BE adn TFY).  While the store does have this weird old house smell, Taylor was fanastic! I felt at ease and complete comfortable with the whole process. She never pressured you or made you feel bad about something you had tried on. Everything the store fit in my budget. My bridal party came into town and she graciously squeezed us in at the end of her Saturday appointments so they could see what I had narrowed it down to. Ended up buying my dress that day! :)

I recommend In White in Lancaster. :) In terms of pricing, dresses start around $800. Customer service is good, although they can get really busy on Saturdays, so I would avoid going then. Certainly make an appointment. They just opened a new shop a couple of doors down that carries higher-end gowns if that's what you're looking for.

Taylored for You Bridal is amazing!  My sister got her dress there, and we got our BM dresses there.  I can't wait to go for my own bridal gown!
