    You could go to Sam Lewis State Park....it's beautiful up there! Or in Wrightsville along the river...just some ideas.

    I totally agree w/PP.

    For spots on the river you can do the John Wright restaurant on Front Street in Wrightsville, Klines Run Park on Long Level Road and Lock 12 on Long Level.

    For some non-river areas you could also do John Rudy Park or the Rail Trail. GL!

    There is also Chickies Overlook in Columbia, PA. My fiance proposed to me there. It's a quick walk to a cliff overlooking the Susquehanna River.
