Hello All,

Does anyone know of a good hair and/or makeup artist that is familiar with African American hair, extensions, & weaves in Central PA? I am having a hard time locating a hairstylist that is TIMELY and up-to-date on the latest styles, etc... With makeup, I want a lot of drama so I am looking for an artist not afraid to push the "bride-look" envelope. I don't want something I can do myself. :-) I am not trying to look like dawn of the dead, just drop dead georgeous. LoL

Have you looked on Craigslist?   You might be able to find someone on there.

Sam does great hair and he works with Patricia, they are a team.  He did my extensions for a boudoir shoot I had and he works with all types of hair. 
I have thin, very curly hair so making it look nice and smooth can be a challange.

There is a great place in york that i go to.  friendsthesalon.com  Check them out.  great prices, staff, and they don't keep you in there all day.  Very professional!
