Choosing between 2 lanc pa florists?

I had my consultation with Mount Joy Floral designs last week, Jill seemed to have great ideas, have not recieved a quote yet.  She seemed to have more time for me, didnt talk over me, wanted to hear my ideas, and threw her own in there, LOVED her.

Had my consultation with Petals and beans this am, with Stacia- I had to wait 15 mins before even speaking to her, she is a reputable designer, I got a quote this am- about 2500. She didnt seem to throw in any "design" ideas.  It semed like she was in a hurry.

Has anyone had any of these designers? Who did you chose and why?  What were your results?

how did the prices differ?
Who would you go with? 
I just need some input please!

    I did not meet with either of these 2 florists. If I were in your shoes I would pick the person who I felt was communicating better. (as long as your quote is reasonable)

    I've seen beautiful things from Petals and Beans but I wouldn't want to work with someone who seemed too busy for me. It's off putting especially for your first meeting.

    I WOULD GO WITH JILL!!!  You will LOVE working with her!  Stacia definitely has pretty stuff, and is competitively priced, but I guarantee you wont be disappointed if you go with Mt joy floral! Our flowers were just breath taking!  I LOVED THEM!  She was professional, on time, and really cared about our big day! She has a true passion for what she does.  The cool thing with Jill is that if you don't agree with the price she'll work with you to get you into that price bracket.  She rocks!

    If you want more pics of her stuff let me know.  She did church flowers for us too. They were just beautiful!  The price for everything we got.  pew flowers, alter flowers, bouquets, bouts, centerpieces, flower petals for the aisle were about 2100.  Which in my opinion wasn't bad at all considering the size and types of flowers we had.  Good luck!

    After seeing keithandkristi's flowers I'd say definitely go with Mt. Joy Floral. I remember seeing these pics not too long ago and drooling over how pretty the flowers were! Good luck!

    I'm using Stacia with the sister store, Petals With Style, based out of Lancaster City.  We've met with her a couple times and she never seemed busy.  I have played phone tag with her a couple times, but she still has a lot of enthusiasm and a great memory.  Unfortunately, I don't know anything about My Joy, so that's probably no help, sorry!

    You'll feel much better going with someone who listens to what you want and can make creative suggestions too. I would go with Mount Joy.

    Or, I would totally recommend Bobbie at Neffsville Flower Shoppe. She was so accomodating, friendly and fun to work with. She had great ideas and I could not have been happier with my experience at the consultation!

    I concur....STACIA HANDS DOWNS!!  My bouquet was 24 roses with stephanosis and a pearl is each flower.  It was heavy but beautiful!  Stacia is at her new shop...Petals with Style 117 South West End ave.  717.392.4000

    I forgot to mentioned that Stacia delivered and set up my event.  I also purchased satin bows from her as well.  My flowers were relatively inexpensive...for what I received.

    Stacia was amazing. Everyone commented on my flowers...I cannot say enough good things about her!!!! Check out my pics!!!

    looks like its going to be petals by designs- the quote was much cheaper by 1000 and i would get more flowers. :)  Like I said, I havent heard anything bad about petals and beans ( designs) its just the way she came off....
