Gifts What to buy??

I was wondering what type of gifts to get my bridesmaids and flowergirl...Also my Wedding shower is being held at a friends place, who is also my bridesmaid.  I feel like I should get her something special. Any thoughts on gift ideas.

Everyone always says "shop like it's their birthday" on here...

I have NO idea what I'm getting. I do know I will get them gift cards to a spa so we can all be pampered the day before. I plan to make necklaces to wear on the wedding (another apparent no-no on this forum, any jewelry to be worn for wedding isn't a gift).I may get another gift. 

I've been in three weddings. Everyone in the BP got the same gift-one was a bracelet, one was a keepsake box and the third was a spa day.

I bought each girl a tote bag and filled it with the following

Beach towel with name embroidered
Flip flops from Old Navy
Bracelet for the wedding day
tissues
chocolate
and then I bought each girl something special- for example my one BM loves the Pittsburgh Steelers so I found a cute knitt hat on Etsy- my sister Loves earings so I bought her 2 really great pairs my FSIL is a starbucks addict so I got her a gift card.

my girls are all getting pearl earrings and pearl bracelets. I also got all of them an embroidered cosmetic bag from Etsy and a sweet "thank you for being my bridesmaid" card that I ordered off of etsy as well. 

I am also paying for all of them to have their hair done and their makeup done, and our hair/makeup package includes shoulder, arm, and hand massages for everyone, so hopefully it will at least be somewhat pampering  

I am still pondering whether or not I am going to get them matching robes to get ready in as well.......I want to, but they are pretty expensive!!

I feel like a lot of brides give earrings as a gift.  I know it's not proper etiquette on TK because if it's something to wear on the day of your wedding, it shouldn't be considered a gift, but that's the norm in my circle at least.  My friend gave me earrings to wear for her wedding but I've worn them a bunch of other times.  She also paid for our hair and makeup for the day of which is very pricey (again, girls on TK don't count that as a gift but I think it's a very sweet gesture).  

I am paying for my girls' hair and at least half of their makeup (that's already around $100 per girl).  Then, I am thinking of getting them a piece of jewelry and either a cute tote or bag, maybe a personalized wine glass or a gift card. Two of my BMs are coming in from out of town so I don't want to give them something they can't take on the plane with them (like a bottle of wine, for example).

Where did you get these? Do you mind sharing how much they were? I saw photos of someone's wedding wear the girls all wore pearls and it looked really classy.

if that link doesn't work, let me know...she also gave me a 20% discount, so it was quite reasonable, and everything came out gorgeous.  I used the swarovski pearls that she has - they are shinier and all identically round and full, where her freshwater pearls are less round and more expensive.

I ended up getting them all Lolita wine glasses with their zodiac sign and a VS lotion with a wristlet in it and I am getting them all GC to help with their hair at the salon. For my MOH the extra I am getting her is a GC to a local spa.

I'm giving my girls a personalized tote bag. In the tote will be a personalized robe, earings, a "bridesmaids survival kit", and i'm debateing about adding something else small.

As for my FG, She gets to keep her basket of flowers, plus we'll get her and her brother some little toys (brother is the RB and they are 3). Then I think I'm going to do a nice silver bank or jewlrey box. I was going to do a music box but if hers makes noise her brothers has to and I haven't found anything like that for boys.

I am getting a tote bag for my MOH.  I am painting her initials on it and putting a necklace, flip flops, a beach towel, a book (maybe) and a thank you card.  I am also making one for her daughter who is doing my hair, makeup, and the music for our ceremony.

Wow.  Everyone seems to be giving way more extensive bridesmaid gifts than I was planning on.  I've been a bridesmaid a couple of times and I've never gotten so much. I feel like I once got earrings, once a pashmina, and the others I don't even remember.

I was planning to pay for their hair and give personalized "wet bikini bags" from TK cuz I think they are cute and seem unique & useful, but now I'm wondering if I need to supplement with more.  We will be having a pool day at my bachelorette, so I thought it would be fitting.
