Riverdale Manor?

Hi Ladies!
When I was on the board when DD#1 was getting married, there was a lot of talk about Riverdale Manor.....but I never really paid attention because we were having a tented reception at a private residence.  Now DD#2 is getting married and was looking at Riverdale.

So my question is; do you have any experiences with Riverdale Manor you'd like to share with us?  Good-Bad?

My cousin got maried there. It was at beautiful location, food was great, staff was great.  As a guest, it was great.  the only thing that is odd or off is the actual drive there. you feel like your going down an ally way.  but thats not in their control..

I LOVE the riverdale manor!  Great location with the house and the ballroom.  They also have a lot of different locations to choose from as to where to hold your ceremony.

Just make sure to plan in advance.  We called in November for an August wedding the next year and it was booked every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through the following November!

I absolutely fell in love with Riverdale Manor when I saw it. Everywhere else that I looked, I just couldn't picture myself getting married there. So my fiance and I decided Riverdale was the place for us. We are getting married June 25, 2011 and so far they have been everything but nice and helpful to my fiance and I. I know when we were booking they already had one or two others booked for June of 2011 (may have been on fridays or sundays, not sure) I am not sure what month you are looking at but I would look into soon. Also they were more then happy to give my fiance, me and my family a private tour of the facility and discuss any questions we had. I found that very helpful. I hope this helps.
