Hi! I am looking for recommendations on DJs. I would prefer someone that cost around $500 for 4 hours and someone who is very interactive with the guests. I've recently been to a wedding where the DJ barely talked and I don't want the same thing to happen at mine. We have been looking into the Dynamic Rockers. I'm not sure if anyone here has heard anything about them, or even has another DJ they loved. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

    My DJ is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!  His name is Adam McCallister of Birdsnest Productions.  His e-mail is radioadam@live.com.  He is 600 dollars for the night, but that's one of the lowest prices around.  He's about as close to 500 dollars as you can get.  If you tell him Malerie from The Knot referred you, he will work with you more as well, since he just started getting referrals from The Knot.  Let me know if you'd like anymore information!

    Our DJ is Matthew Haines with Mixed Impressions. He is $500 for the 1st 4 hours and an $100 dollars per extra hour. His personality is great!

    You'll love him!  I honestly can't say enough about him... he's FANTASTIC!!  He is by far the most confident that I feel with a vendor!!

    I would reccommend Doug Metherell of DMproductions. He is VERY easy to work with and is $600 for 4 hours. his website is www.dougmdj.com. He is pretty awesome! Tell him Whitney sent you!

    I know some DJ's travel and I'm not sure exactly where you are, but we hired Paris from Good Vibrations..I read ALOT of great reviews on him and he will work with you on price. He was also rec. by our vendor. He is very interactive and does a great job(from what I'm told) He has alot of good ideas too :) Just something I learned, ask for a recording of a recent performance to see if the dj fits your style. I also heard Bob Romeo from BackTrax is great. Good Luck!
