Has anyone had a wedding at the Yorktowne Hotel?

My fiance and I recently reserved the Yorktowne for next June - I love the setting.  It's a bit pricey but everything is included.  What do you think-any reviews?

I am having my wedding at the yorktowne in september.  It is beautiful and the wedding coordinator there is amazing.  I am very worried though because i saw on ydr.com (york daily record) that the yorktowne has defaulted on their loan and they will be losing the hotel.  Do you know what this means for our contracts?

The sales mgr will be calling you or maybe she already called.  She said that the owners are working out the terms of the loan, but the hotel will still operate as normal.

I just got married there September 4th of this year. It was AMAZING. The Yorktowne did such an incredible job. Layla and Jill were fantastic to work with. Their staff went above and beyond for our guests. Our Photographer and Candy Bar gal had never done a wedding at the Yorktowne and they both commented on how amazing and helpful the staff was to them. The day went off perfectly and Layla made sure everything was on time and running smoothly. I will be more than happy to send you some pictures of the room from the day if you would like. I highly recomend them!
