DJ Freeze?

Hey ladies!

I am a New Yorker planning a PA wedding, and am looking for a really, really good DJ. DJ Freeze was on many preferred vendor lists of venues we checked out & from purusing around online I think he might be our style, but I was wondering if anyone knows his price range/if he's good/as professional as he seems on his website. I also have  NO clue what the average DJ costs in PA. In NYC they easily run into the $1000s. Any input?

Thanks!! :)

I'm using Complete Music of Lancaster as my DJ. My best friend's FI works there so I know exactly what I'm getting. I've been helping a lot of my friends with their weddings and I would say that the average price of a DJ in PA is about $700. It gets more expensive if you get into the bigger cities like Pittsburg and Philly. Hope that helps...Good Luck!

Thanks for the info! One of the many reasons we chose to get married in my fiance's hometown rather than my own!

I said No to Freeze because he doesn't always pay attention to his surroundings and the type of music of he plays, i.e., extreme profanity when your grandma is in the room.  Also, I find him extremely unprofessional and RUDE along with ARROGANT!!!  Yes, he is very popular here but there are better and easier people to work with other than him.

However, I used his protege and friend, Chris Perry,.....WONDERFUL.  I think that he is only $125 an hour when we booked him last year.  In additional. he is making PROMO JAZZ CDs for all of my guests that asked.  You can reach him at djchrisperry@yahoo.com
