Hair Salons or those that travel to you?

Hi ladies,

I'm looking for a salon in the Lancaster, PA area (preferable downtown, but we're willing to travel) that can do updos early Saturday morning for my brother's wedding.  We're from OOT, so we're clueless.  We'd love someone to come to us at the hotel, but would rather save money if it came down to high travel fees.  Any recommendations?  It's not for the bride, so someone that does a good job with simple updos and is reasonably priced would be perfect!

    I just had my hair trial at Luxe in downtown-ish Lancaster. My post with pics is a few below. I had Rosa do my hair and she was wonderful. I would say they seem to be a little on the expensive side. You might want to check them out though. They run specials often.

    Headrush Hair Designs has been floated around these boards a bunch, and their prices are pretty good: http://www.headrushhairdesigns.com/services.asp

    Also found this salon when searching around the net.... it's in Lititz, so probably about 20 minutes from downtown, but again has pretty reasonable prices, and i know they travel, though i think it adds something like a $150 travel fee: http://www.salonrouge.name/Products_Services.html

    Finally, my DOC recommended this place as awesome: http://www.vervehairstudio.com/Weddings.html They're in Lancaster and also travel, prices are higher than the other 2, but apparently it is highly recommended.

    I would HIGHLY suggest Salon Fin, it is in downtown lancaster, but I am fairly certain they would travel (they are for my wedding). I have been getting my hair done by Karen for years, which says a lot because I am VERY picky about my hair.  The prices are beyond reasonable and both Karen and Leigh do a great job. I cannot say enough good things about them!
