The most important person

A friend of mine contacted me saying she is stressing because she has no idea who is going to marry her. We got married 2 years ago and we used our priest. She is not catholic and has no preference on denomination is there any suggestions anyone has her wedding is 4 months away.

TIA

What area is your friend getting married?

if she cant find someone she is happy with she could always have a friend or family member marry here. we used a self-unitying license and had my cousin marry us.

in PA you can use a self unitying license which means you do not need an officiant. your marriage license is signed by the b&g, and two witnesses. you can have whoever you want run the ceremony.

you do need to indicate the date of your ceremony and location (county). but its the same as any other license you just need to specifically ask for that type when applying.

    good luck to your friend!

Rev. Jo-An Glasse. Jo-an@comcast.net. She is doing our non-religious wedding and we love her! She is very open to you building your ceremony any way you want to.

Anyone that is ordained by the State can marry her. Doesn't have to be a preist. A judge, a general of the military can marry her. There are also classes online that anyone can be legally able to marry. Good Luck.

this is not true. online ordainment is not legal in PA. while you could use someone who is not ordained via the self-unitying license that i discussed above, you could not use someone ordained online with the typical marriage license.
