I'm sure you're all tired of seeing my posts about vendors by now! I'm sorry, but as of this morning, Brad Carlson has informed me that instead of honoring our agreement to shoot our 6.11.11 wedding, he and his family are going to Tennessee for a music festival!

So I'm back here asking again for recommendations for a videographer! I'm on a tight budget for a videographer. I was only paying $700 for the day for Brad, so someone around that ball park would be nice! Thanks for the help!

    Wow that sucks. That doesn't sound too professional either. We aren't having a videographer but I know our photographer does video as well. Not sure the prices though. You could check him out. He's Frank King out of Dover.

    I'm sorry to hear that. With your post dated 1/14 below that I responded to Saturday, it didn't appear as though you had officially signed a contract or booked him.

    I have an AWESOME videographer rec, but she's more than $700 :-(

    Recommend away MB! I'm willing to pay more, but I'm hoping to keep it under a $1000.

    MelJoe- I have been waiting for him since October! He asked me not to send a deposit until after the holidays and because he was moving in December and didn't want anything to get lost in the mail. However, he assured me that my date was secured. The first week of January I emailed him because he still had not sent me a contract and I was ready to mail the deposit. He finally sent me the contract on Thursday, so I was ready to mail everything out when he emailed me. So no, technically, no contract, but I have a dozen emails stating that he secured my date for me. It was horribly unprofessional and had he told me this in Oct, I wouldn't have wasted months waiting for him and I could've found a replacement.

    I looked and looked and looked and looked, and I seriously was ready to give up.  I had so many people that either were rude saying "Yes I'm available.  It's not too far, I just don't feel like doing it." or they're like 3000 dollars, so I figured I'd just cut it.  Until I found ONE girl that I LOVVVVVVE!!  Her name is Natalie and she's from Birdhouse Productions out of Harrisburg.  Her e-mail is birdcall@birdhouseproductionspa.com

    I'm sorry to hear that. I did run into a similar circumstance with a photographer when I was planning and lesson learned to me for sure. But there are always two sides to every story.
