1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married? I'm in education, so it seemed to be the best month. We also have always wanted to get married outside! So we're hoping the weather cooperates!

2.) Are you doing a groom's cake? and if so has FI/ you picked it out yet? I am, but he doesn't know! His father, who passed away 5 years ago, put a Corvette in my FI's name the day he was born. So, the cake will be the exact car, with some sparklers around it! We'll surprise him with it at the reception and roll it out during our thank you's!

3.) Who have you asked to walk you down the isle? Both my mom and dad.

4.) Are you going to surprise FI with anything on your the big day? Aside from the groom's cake, I've been writing him a short letter every once in a while, on important days since the day we got engaged. I'll put it in some kind of book and give it to him while he's getting ready to read through!

Because it's the only month that I'm off school the entire month. We get out in June - but then I'll have a two week practicum at the end of June - then August we're back about haflway through. Short summer break.

Nope - No room in the budget for it.

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married?  We chose to married in July because FI didn't want to get married in the fall or winter and I didn't want to get married in the spring...so we just decided on the summer.  June is way too busy with graduations and weddings, so July made more sense.  (I still want a winter wonderland wedding!! haha)

2.) Are you doing a groom's cake? and if so has FI/ you picked it out yet?  Yes, I am surprising FI with it at the rehearsal dinner.  It is going to be 'Shaun of the Dead' themed (it's a british zombie movie...pretty entertaining...).  It will be red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

3.) Who have you asked to walk you down the isle?  My dad is walking me down the aisle...I'm still deciding if I want to have my stepdad walk me down.  He's been a big part of my life, however, I'm afraid it is going to cause friction between he, my mom and my stepsister...

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married?  In Grand Teton National Park, summer lasts a whole 3 months!  It can snow any month there actually.  July was the warmest (highs of 80F) and had the least precipitation (1 inch) for our outdoor wedding.

3.) Who have you asked to walk you down the isle?  I've asked no one.  I'll go alone if my dad doesn't make it.  He's got cancer that has metastisized into his lungs, and not doing so well.  He said if he's breathing he's going.  It's a 3 hour plane ride for him.

1.) We picked July because we share the same birthday July 7th and met July 10th last year so we are sticking with the theme lol. 2.)FI wants do a groom's cake which will be red velvet and the Phillie's theme somehow. 3.) I have asked my father and my son who is 9 to walk me down the isle, my son is so nervous and at first told me no because he didn't want ppl to stare at him but now he is thrilled to play such a big part. 4.) I plan to surprise him with our photobooth, we decided it was going to be very costly and axed the idea but I am going to book one once I get my tax return, I can't wait to see his face.

Yep...not sure what exactly.  I've been writing him letters ina book since we got engaged, but not every day since like I had planned (we've had a lot of bad days this year, and they'd probably end up not being the nicest letters. )

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married? It was easier to have a summer wedding since I am a teacher and we'd have more vacation time. I'd NEVER get married in the winter- I get cold easily!

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married? Two reasons, 1. I'm a teacher so summer is much easier for me. 2. Our dating anniversary is July 16th, the day after our wedding.

It was the only time (except winter) that worked for all the key players (MI, me, parents, sisters). As a nice extra, we started dating in July 2010 and got engaged last July.

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married? He is a teacher and we wanted to go on our HM right away.  Plus I am a beach girl and love the summer so I of course have to be tan for my wedding!

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married?

My mom and older sister (co-MOH) are teachers, and my younger sister (co-MOH) is in university, so we knew we wanted summer. A family friend offered to do the cake and cupcakes, and was going to be out of the country til early July, and a very close family friend who will be helping officiate the wedding was leaving the country beginning of August, so we had a two week window to make sure the VIPs could come.

Yes I'm doing boudoir photos for him, and I'll give him the book at some point when we have some alone time. FI also loves tiger lilies and has decided he wants one for his boutenier. Even though our colours are turquoise and green, and our flowers are hydrangeas. Random thing for him to be so adamant about but oh well! So my mom and I decided to sneak a little bit of tiger lilies here and there in the decor as well, for him

1.) Why did you and your FI choose July to get married? - I really wanted a New Years Eve wedding but FI and pretty much everyone else involved talked me out of it for fear of the weather (we had a massive snowstorm last year at the same time).  Next pick was the summer and my couin had just picked a date in the middle of June 2012 so I didn't want to burden my family with another June wedding... so July it was!

Are you doing a groom's cake? and if so has FI/ you picked it out yet? - Yes, it's a surprise groom's/birthday cake for my FI's 30th birthday.  We'll be on our honeymoon for his birthday so I'm surprising him with a cake that will be a replica of a DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies and his BM will be dressing up as Doc Brown and bringing it in the reception.
