Self Cater Venue in Chicagoland

We are looking for a venue that will allow us to bring outside food (not catered) and alcohol that we prepare and purchase ourselves.

We're hoping for a low-cost reception and are thinking more towards an appetizer and dessert reception. 

Anyone have any ideas for venues in Chicago and Chicago suburbs that are reasonably priced?

Here a couple of places I found:

- Kitchen Chicago
- Wilmette Woman's Club

- Evanston Woman's Club. 

There are a lot of park district venues that are not self catered, but still a good value. If you stick with appetizers & desserts, the catering cost could be minimal (especially with someone like Corky's). Some caterers are willing to let you byob and have their employees serve which can get you around the liquor liability requirements at CPD & other park district venues. 

Either way, your choices will be dependent on the number of guests, and whether or not you want to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue. Good luck!

Forgot to mention that VFW might not let you BYO. The one by us doesn't.
