Conewago Manor Inn

Hi!  :)  So I'm recently engaged as of October and this is the first place we are visiting for a possible ceremony/reception site.  I tried doing a search on the boards for this place but couldn't find anything, just wondering if anyone has had their wedding/been to a wedding here?

    HI! I'm an Old School Knottie, but sneak back in here once in a while:)

    I do some part time work for a caterer and we do alot of events at Conewago. If I had my wedding to do over again, and had the budget to have it there, I would have chosen Conewago. I love the owners, and they take alot of pride in the property there, so everything is beautifully done, and top-of-the-line. You cannot beat the scenery, too!

    The only downside is weather, which for Central PA is always a gamble. If you plan on having your ceremony there, I would make sure to have a back up plan somewhere where you could have it indoors. I have seen occassions where in the case of rain, they have moved the ceremony under the tent, but in my opinion, it's rather tacky to have guests seated at their tables while a ceremony is going on. I just feel the logistics are a bit off...but it doesn't bother some brides.
