Davids Bridal Harrisburg Alterations

Has anyone had any experience with getting their wedding gown altered at the David's Bridal on Jonestown Road in Harrisburg?

I bought the dress there but have been hearing horror stories about their alterations department.

Does anyone have any experiences to share? Good or bad!

I'm hearing the same stories, so I'm getting my dress altered by a local seamstress in the York area. There are plenty of local ladies who do it, so I wouldn't waste your time or money or compromise your vision of your dress at David's!

Hello, mdevorick! 

I've used David's (Hbg) for alterations for my BFF's wedding (my MOH dress) in 2011 and the dress was perfect.  Even better yet, I also had my wedding gown altered there this month... and there is not one thing wrong with it (so beautiful with the bustles); and I pick up my mother's and BM's gowns this week.  I personally haven't heard of any horror stories about their alterations.  

However, the overall experience at David's was not the most delightful and at times horrific (especially when you're purchasing a wedding gown at the same time there are 50 kids trying to find their prom dresses - maybe just bad timing on my part?).
