Hamilton Ballroom vs. Hamilton Club

Hello, fellow brides-to-be!
We are currently debating between the Hamilton Ballroom at Wheatland Place and the Hamilton Club of Lancaster.  Has anyone had any experiences with these venues, good or bad? I would really appreciate your thoughts! We are trying to decide by this weekend. (AAAH!)

XOXO

We are booked for our wedding next year at Hamilton Ballroom. The space is beautiful and versatile, and I would say one big advantage over Hamilton Club is that HB has a parking lot on site. I don't know if there's a parking arrangement at Hamilton Club for weddings, but I would guess it would mean garage parking or some kind of additional fee.

I'll be honest that I haven't had 100% awesome service from Hamilton Ballroom (they were very hard to get in touch with at times and I got conflicting information about food tastings), but overall we are happy with our decision and their menu and are very much looking forward to our wedding there.

Good luck, though, choosing the location was one of the hardest things we did.

Don't know much about Hamilton Club, but my sister's reception was at Hamilton Ballroom, and it was beautiful.  As far as I know, she was really happy with everything.

The only drawback is Hamilton Ballroom forces you to take their caterer now, which is why my fiance and I opted not to go with them.  Their menu options aren't that varied, and they are just starting out, so we were concerned about how well they would handle it.  Just something to keep in mind.

Have you checked out Legacy Ballroom at the Jewish Community Center? It's gorgeous, and the staff is fantastic.  That's where we are having our reception, so if you haven't checked it out, I definitely recommend it.
